FAQs About Jack Pad Adapter Tool Chassis

Q: is it used for model S?

A: Yes , fit for model 3 , model y, model S, model X
【NOTE】For Model X, it might be a little bit loose for the hole and you might need to line up the pad in the hole while raising the the car

Q: Does this work for 2021 Model Y ?

A: It should. I bought these for a Model S. When I needed a tire fixed, the repair shop already had a set

Q: I'm confused - why would you ever need four? If you ever needed to do four tires, wouldn't you simply need one and then switch its position?

A: Most auto shops use a lift system that has two arms on each side, where the entire vehicle is lifted over a sunken bay. In this instance, you'd need all 4. Many auto shops have their own, but I know I for one live somewhere that there are very few other Teslas (if any), so I printed out an instruction sheet from the Model 3 manual, and hand it and the kit to the guys when I take it in.

Q: What is the jacking point?

A: The jacking points are located at 4 locations around a car (see below), they're locations that you're safe to lift with a hydraulic jack or two post lift.
