Refreshing and Effective Electrolyte Powder!
I just got Dr. Bergโs electrolyte powder yesterday, and I know Iโm going to be keeping it around! The flavor profile of tropical coconut, pineapple, and orange is what initially drew me in, and it did not disappoint. I use it with cool water and ice, and the hydration it provides is fantastic!The taste is really good, very similar to the Bai brand drinks. Thereโs nothing I dislike about it. Just make sure to mix it really well, otherwise, you might find a little bit of the powder settling at the bottom.This is the first electrolyte powder Iโve tried from Dr. Berg, but I would definitely try more of their products. Iโm also excited to experiment with mixing this into my Ninja Creami fruit sorbet recipes!I highly recommend this product for its great value and excellent hydration benefits. Itโs a winner in my book!

I’ve purchased Dr Berg Electrolyte powder several times before but this batch Lot # 23J0091 has issues near the end of the container. By that I mean the product had not been blended/mixed well and had evidently divided and tasted different. I do stir the product to try and prevent this but it didn’t work. I am not suggesting you not by this product by stir it & be aware.Updated 07/13/2024Seller responded quickly to my review above.Seller rectified the issue with the product. Much appreciated. I will continue to purchase from this Seller, despite the unfortunate one time experience. Thank you.

A must while fasting!
When I first started IF (intermittent fasting) I would get dizzy when standing and it would sometimes get bad enough to make me nauseous. This product fixed that problem 100%.I immediately know if I havent had enough of it, I drink this mix and tea (almost no straight water) throughout my fast. Also if I am hungry and drink it I immediately feel energized and not hungry. I’ve done 3-4 day fasts on this and its amazing. I cannot fast without it. I also LOVE the taste (lemon-raspberry). There is a residue at the bottom of my glasses but I dont mind drinking it up even if its a little salty. I’m not sure how I feel about the stevia.. maybe one day I’ll try one without it. I know that it doesnt cause me to have any cravings. All sugar/carb cravings are gone after 2 months on keto. For reference I’m doing OMAD and weekly 72hr fasts and my BP is normal when I’m not fasting. It’s a bummer its so expensive as I go through it so quickly.

I decided to try this powder based upon one of Dr. Berg’s videos about reducing hypertension, which I have a longstanding struggle with (failing to not make dietary adjustments has not helped). I decided to give it a shot, since I take electrolyte powders in my water when I do water- and other sports here in the desert Southwest (especially in the warmer months, where it’s not optional IMO)! I’ve been using mostly Liquid IV, which I love the taste of and dissolves without issue. I do like the taste of this powder. It’s sweet enough to make water drinkable but definitely not overpowering at all. It’s actually very refreshing.However, as others have pointed out, the price point on this stuff isn’t great, as compared to LIV, especially for a half-filled tub (Shrinkflation, anyone??). Also, like others have said, I can’t get the stuff to fully dissolve. Some of it does and lies in suspension throughout, but there’s always this gritty, particulate residue that never seems to go away. For the money, you’d think they’d figure out this issue.Apart from that, I am hoping that it helps somewhat reduce my blood pressure, since I’m drinking water anyway. Not sure if I’ve fallen for the hype or what, but I’ve gone ahead and ordered another tub lol

Good Value
This product has high-quality electrolytes and no sugar. The taste is fine. I have to drink it 3x daily, and I tolerate it well. I have re-ordered many times, as I am making good progress with my dehydration issues. I’ve done much pricing of other products and Dr. Berg’s is the best. It’s working for me.

Great taste, no added sugar, great source of vital magnesium. Only drawback in my opinion is that it fails to fully dissolve so leaves a slightly salty taste when you drain it.Would highly recommend.

Good flavor, works for me
I was having a hard time at work, feeling tired and dehydrated almost nightly, when a friend suggested I try this product. I started adding it to my first water bottle of the day, and within a week there was a noticeable difference.I am now over halfway through my first container and will definitely be buying again.- It smells good and has a light, refreshing taste- You get months worth of product in one container- Can use on the go. I just add one scoop to my water bottle as Iโm walking out the door, shake it up, and drink it on my way to work- I canโt say it did or did not help with my energy levels, but the pain I was suffering from the daily muscle cramps has almost completely been eliminatedIt may not work the same for everyone, but I would recommend trying this. It gives me that extra boost at the start of my day so Iโm able to stay on top of my hydration game)

Electrolyte mix for people with high blood pressure
I just received This mix today, so these are my first impressions. I know that some of the other reviewers said that this powder mix does not dissolve fully. In my experience with powder mixes, this makes dissolves well. It does not have a salty taste, because it is mostly potassium with 40 mg of sodium. This flavor definitely has more of a coconut taste to it, but it does have hints of pineapple and orange. The flavor. It does not really bother me that much that the flavor leans more towards the coconut taste. I think itโs really awesome that there is a electrolyte mix that does not send your blood pressure through the roof because of sodium, this actually kind of battles high blood pressure with 1000 mg of potassium.

Marginal taste but high Potassium
I needed an electrolyte drink that was high in potassium – this does that. However as others have said, the taste is marginal at best. To me, it actually tastes considerably better when mixed weak – maybe 3/4 scoop of powder for 16oz. I also sometimes add a squirt of lemon juice which helps even more. So mix it weak and it tastes better.As for how well it dissolves, it is a little slow but really all you need to do is put the water in first and add the powder to the water – that keeps the powder from clumping (and never dissolving). Definitely no issues if you prepare it the night before.

I initially gave this product a one star review but Dr. Berg made it right on customer satisfaction.
I gave this product a try and wished I had purchased the sample packs first. The product is sweetened with stevia that’s overly sweet to my taste buds and causes me too bloat. The flavor is also more intense than what I am used to in lemon flavors. I did write my original review expressing the things about this product that do not work for me. Dr. Berg reached out and has taken serious note of my concerns and refunded my account accordingly. Thank you Dr. Berg for standing by customer satisfaction. I upped this from one star to 4 stars.

Impossible to quantify the chemical upsides, but way better than gatorade for ya
Due to the fact Gatorade, and I expect most “electrolyte replacement drinks”, is loaded with sugar, and our bodies work much better without sugar, any electrolyte replacement drink that is not loaded with sugar is better for us. (So goes modern diet theory.) Dr. Berg’s uses stevia instead of sugar, so this gives the huge benefit of no sugar.The ‘net says Gatorade had 34 grams sugar per 20 oz of gatorade, and 48 for 28 oz. (2 diff sites.)Dr. Berg’s stevia and other ingredients has a considerably different taste than gatorade I used to drink (lemon-lime). Not in a bad way, just different. It took a little while for me to adjust, but knowing I gave up a truck load of sugar was well worth any adjustments.If reducing sugar is not your goal, maybe cost savings is. It is more cost effective to mix up Dr. Berg’s than buy bottled gatorade. I guess that assumes access to a clean water supply to mix it with.Of great importance is that it was beneficial in keeping my thirst quenched thru 3 months of keto diet, no small task giving the limited food types I was consuming. And I continue to use it after, giving up buying drinks made to perpetuate human’s addiction to sugar.As far as the actual chemical effect on the body Dr. Berg’s mix offers, who knows? But I totally believe the sugar replacement is of great benefit.

Dissolves well in room temperature or warmer liquid
This is a great product…great taste – great mineral supplements – and NO SUGAR! I recently discovered that I am allergic to sugar, so it’s a good deal for me. It’s better than the competition (and I’ve tried a few) and cheaper. Good job, Dr. Berg!The only negative factor is that it does not dissolve well in cold (refrigerator-cold) liquid. It does very well in room temperature or warmer liquids. If you have a problem with it dissolving and you want cold liquid, dissolve it in warmer temperature liquid first, then add ice.

GREAT PRODUCT!!
I thought I would give this stuff a try and WOW! the flavor is reaallllyyyy good. I got the grape flavor and what is crazy is that the taste is great. “NO” bad after taste of that fake sugar they put in drinks nowadays. What is in here is the stevia leaf extract which gives it a sweetness but doesn’t add sugar which is great. I must say this is hands down the best grape flavor I’ve ever tasted in a beverage across the board how the hell did these guys do this. It legit tastes like a rich grape and when you open the container you can smell that rich grape smell in there too. I typically don’t write reviews but I had to drop in to leave this one incase anyone was iffy about this product. I can only speak for “GRAPE”. I haven’t tried the other flavors so if the other flavors taste like trash I can’t speak on that. GRAPE is a 10/10 deff go for it.

Easy to use
I was looking for an electrolyte that tasted good and was easy to use. I use only 1/8 of a tsp. Most others come in one individual pac. It would be a total waste and inconvenience to measure and reuse. I have to watch my salt intake and I am on a Carnivore diet, and donโt salt much because of my Heart issues. Dr, Bergโs pruduct taste good and allows me a choice of how much I want to use.

Wish we could still get the no sweetner added and the flavor is muted
I have had the version of “natural grape” and strawberry lemonade that were not already sweetened. I ordered them from Dr Berg’s website and have had them since 2022. I had ordered a lot of it so it would last. I ordered raspberry lemonade and cucumber lime this time. Disappointed I couldn’t get the previous “natural grape” and that they came with a sweetener already added. What I had ordered off the site in 2022 had zero sweeteners and I would add allulose or monk fruit extract which was perfect. I emailed Dr Berg’s site and all they would say was, we don’t think it would taste good without sweetener. I explained that I know it wouldn’t but it allows me to use my own. After getting no where with support I came back here to just order from Amazon. Anyways, sorry for the rant. These also do not taste as flavorful as they did before. They are much more muted on flavor. I hope but doubt Dr Berg will see some of these reviews and reconsider some of the changes made or provide us with additional options when ordering. I will say that they work the same. I use them during a fast or times I need extra hydration and they work just as well as the ones I purchased previously. I just prefer to use my own sweetener and wish they would bump the flavor back up again. The fact these have much less salt than others and as well as other minerals is why I continue to purchase them. Well I have come to trust Dr Berg over the years as well :). I wish I could give more stars but this is how I feel about the two flavors I ordered.

Cloyingly sweet
I wanted to like this. I like the balance of electrolytes in this. I’ve tried many different electrolyte drinks with varying degrees of tolerance – coconut water is my preferred and I feel the best on it compared to any electrolyte drink I’ve tried, but at 1ltr a day, it gets expensive fast.My son does martial arts, and has been asking for “cherry electrolytes”. Most are mixed with pomegranate flavor. But, the stevia as a sweetener is too much. It is too sweet, too cloying, and if I could return it I would. I’m skeptical my son will make it through even one glass, which means either I drink it, or throw it out (and $36 down the drain)

Different Ingredients than Raspberry Lemon Flavor
I assumed that the basic ingredients of all Dr Bergs Electrolyte Powders would be the same, with the difference being the added flavor.That is not the case. (Lemon vs Lemon Raspberry)I should have looked at the label on the website more closely.Some have Iron, some do not. Some use Non-GMO Citric Acid some do not. Some have Organic Stevia and some do not.I like the drink flavors very much, plus it brought my blood pressure down from 186 to 119 in twenty-four hours, after a heavy night of margaritas, corn tortilla chips and salsa.

So long heat cramps
It really sucks to age but we all face it. Started to get severe rib aches after toiling in the yard in the heat. Decided that an electrolyte was needed to prevent such attacks. Started with the Pedialyte at the drugstore ($$$$) and soon decided that it wasn’t practical. Some web “research” found the powder and have been using it ever since

Great taste and consistency
I was seriously dehydrated and unable to buy my normal electrolyte enhanced water when traveling. This powder solved the problem very well and has a very nice taste, dissolves easily in water, although it tends to settle in the bottom of the glass. I just swirl it around again and it re-emulsifies. With ice it makes a very pleasant drink.

1,000mg of POTASSIUM! Tip on mixing to dissolve powder.
This is the best I have found especially for the potassium because we need 4000mg a day. For everyone having issues mixing and not mixing well all I do is use a LITTLE water drop a scoop in the glass mix it with one of those 10 dollar frothers not a spoon and let it sit for 10-20 mins froth again then drink it fast lol. I promise you wonโt have any grittyness. Letting it sit for a while so it will fully dissolve in liquid is key. Thank me later.

Iโm a big fan of Dr. Bergโs product line and I only use his supplements. This electrolyte is great and gives you tons of energy but only thing I donโt like about this product is that it doesnโt dissolve at all you will feel the texture in your mouth. Itโs very easy to use just one scoop. It is very very sweet so I add little bit salt in it to balance the taste. Great stuff.

Helps me in 2 ways
This product definitely keeps me hydrated but it also is getting me off of artificial sweetened drinks such as the ones sweetened with Sucralose. Aside from tea, I would rather drink water with Dr. Berg’s hydration formula than these other sweetened drinks.

I’ve been using this for years.
I do a lot of extended fasts and if I go more than 2 days, I always take electrolytes. I have tried several brands and really like the Dr. Berg brand. My favorite flavor is the lemon raspberry.I take my old water bottles and refill them with RO water and add a scoop of the Dr. Berg powder to it and give it a vigorous shake. The powder dissolves well (unlike some other brands.) I keep the bottle in the refrigerator. I usually space out the consumption of the mix over several hours.It really helps the side effects of fasting that I used to get before using the electrolytes.

Good but few problems
I need the potassium, and I feel better now after using this product for a while. However, the taste is too sweet with barely any lemon. I would have appreciated a stronger and more genuine lemon flavor. Also it is really, really hard to get it mixed up. It does not want to dissolve even though I’m putting boiling water over it and mixing it like crazy. I have to get it down to the last bit and crush the hard crunchy bits with the back of a steel chopstick before it will fully dissolve.

Great Ingredients, But …..
Love the ingredients but drink has been massively oversweetened. Since Dr Berg is an advocate of Keto diets he should reconsider formulation. Many practicing Keto end up learning to not like heavily sweetened eats. While its great that the sweetner is stevia, the massive amount of it is annoying. I want a refreshing tasting drink, not a hyper sweet tasting one.

The Best
Hands down the best quality. In construction, it’s important to stay hydrated, especially in high stress & heat conditions. Most products only have 1/3 of the potassium. Have used this product for many years. Other products simply don’t measure up. It uses stevia, which is also keto friendly. The variety of flavors is nice. I buy the packets when on the go, so it’s easy to take when traveling.

How do you get 1000mg of potassium into a serving size? When EVERY other product out there has to adhere to FDA regulations of 99mg per serving?I like the taste. I use it daily, I work outside in the AZ heat and I really like this product, but as I continue my nutrition education and see 10 times the FDA allowable serving size I have to wonder and ASK if I/we might be being mislead on how much potassium I am intaking while using this product?I follow you on Social Media. Some clarity would be greatly appreciated Dr. Berg.

Best electrolyte product hands down

If you suffer from the sensation of heavy legs restless legs, muscle cramping, If youโre looking for an electrolyte drink that will make you feel energized this is the one! Great before workouts and upon waking. I have been using this product religiously for 4 + years. Lemonade is my favorite flavor. Itโs the first thing I drink upon waking before I have my coffee. Coffee is known to leach magnesium from your body and while we sleep we loose electrolytes. This is why sometimes when we wake up our feet legs and mind feel tight and heavy. Do not pass up the opportunity to start your day off by replenishing these lost minerals. I have also been intermittent fasting for years this electrolyte powder has helped me stay on track and see impressive results. It doesnโt have all of the harsh chemicals and artificial coloring. I know itโs safe and my whole family enjoys this product. I will also mix in some apple cider vinegar in it occasionally when I need to incorporate that in my diet as well. Makes getting that into my diet much more enjoyable. Hope this review helps you make the best educated choice for your purchase. You wonโt be disappointed.

Improved sleep
I got this as I do not get near-enough potassium daily. I eat once per day, almost never snack, and have a hard time remembering to take the tiny, 99mg potassium tablets as I take, max, 2-3 99mg tablets at a time.My goal with this was to just be sure I was getting at least 1g of potassium daily. I’ve had unpleasant reactions with a different electrolyte drink with 1000mg of potassium per serving, so I went with this and am doing about 1/2 scoop twice daily.What I didn’t expect was that my ability to sleep longer improved. This was a clear, notable and has been a persistent change since day two of using this. I have zero problems falling asleep, and rarely have trouble staying asleep unless I have caffeine too late. However, if I sleep for 5.5 hours or longer, I just get up because there’s no point in trying and hope I can nap later. I don’t stay in bed if I can’t sleep.Depending on several factors, I used to naturally sleep for about 6 to just over 7 hours. I’ve been adding sleep debt for years, unfortunately, as I know I need at least 7 hours of sleep, probably closer to 7.5. I haven’t looked, but I’d guess there have been maybe half-dozen days or so in the past 3 years I’ve been tracking sleep when I sleep more than 8 hours in one session.On multiple days since I started taking this, I’ve slept around 9 hours. My sleep is generally good as always, I’m just sleeping longer. I don’t know that I’ve slept 9 hours in one session in years, and it’s happened multiple times in the past week.I don’t expect there’s anything special about this product compared to others, though I tend to trust the brand over a brand I have no knowledge about. For me, the taste is fine and pleasant enough. I don’t really care about hydration from this product, I only purchased it to increase the ease of getting at least 1g of potassium daily. Even though this is more expensive than some other options, I’ll continue to buy it unless there becomes a reason not to.
